Very nice to meet you all. I feel sorry to post the introduction so late. Because I just added this course yesterday. Wishing we all could have a great experience in learning 339.
This is Julie Hu from China. I lived in Shawnigan lake when I was in g11-12. I currently live in Victoria. My major is economics, and I’m a third-year student. I will be a fourth-year student next semester. After I graduate, I wish I could go to Singapore to continue studying economics; however, I know it gonna be hard because my GPA is not great enough to reach their requirement.
During my spare time, I love to watch tv programs and hang out with my friends to find some fine dining restaurants. “What have you done to stay sane during the pandemic?” This is an interesting question to answer. To be honest, the pandemic didn’t make me insane, but my level of procrastination became much higher; still finding a way to solve my procrastination :(.
I had EDCI 338 last year. Hence I’m familiar with “open learning.” My understanding of open learning is a way to learn things in our self-interest. “Distributed learning” is to learn knowledge through a platform such as brightspace in order to learn anywhere, anytime.
